In Rural Exploration Ep-11 – Abandoned somewhere near Anderson, AL.! I go for another micro-adventure close to home in search of abandoned barns, homes and more. In this rural exploration micro-adventure I find all that and more! More, in the form of beautiful rural landscapes complete with livestock!

When on these rural exploration micro-adventures I always wonder what all the abandoned barns, farm equipment, cars and houses were like in their prime. While some that I find are in their prime I’m always amazed at how many are just just abandoned without being torn down. But it makes for wonderful rural photography and rural art!

In this rural exploration micro-adventure I find myself in Anderson, Alabama. Anderson is located in Lauderdale County, in North Alabama near Rogersville. The town is situated alongside Anderson Creek. The town was first settled in 1825.

Anderson is locally known for the Stew Shack and the Fish Creel. Two awesome restaurants.
