Urban Hiking in Alabama&#8217;s Mountain Town of Fort Payne was an awesome experience! Fort Payne has a beautiful main street that I had a great time urban hiking and exploring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Alabama Mountain Town of Fort Payne is located in the Northeastern part of Alabama in DeKalb County. Fort Payne also serves as the county seat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fort Payne is home of the historic DeKalb Theatre that still hosts many events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stores on main street, Fort Payne run the gambit from s Popcorn store to stores with vintage antiques to vinyl records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fort Payne is also home of the historic Fort Payne Opera House that is still active and a well known landmark &#8211; they also offer tours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fort Payne is also home of the Fort Payne Depot Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Urban Hiking in Alabama&#8217;s Mountain Town of Fort Payne is a must see destination if you&#8217;re ever close by.
