“Because life is better in community.”
“Discipleship happens better in circles not rows.”
“Where real life happens.”

At the church where I serve we have 3 different types:
- Interest – centers around any interest the group has – sports, quilting, etc…
- Focus – focus is on the traditional bible study
- Accountability – reason to meet is to drill down on accountability
All are of equal value. Now, you may ask how can that be? How can s sports group equal a full blown bible study? Well to some extent it can’t. But to equal things out each group has questions that must be asked at each gathering…
For Interest and Focus LifeGroups – how are you progressing with your….
For Accountability LifeGroups we add 3 important questions:
- Have you given priority time to your family?
- In all of your dealings, have you acted with integrity?
8. Has your life been exposed to any immorality
Now you may ask what’s the purpose of all these questions. They add accountability. They force us to be honest with ourselves to see if we are progressing as disciples.
No matter where you’re located, there’s a church near you that offers LifeGroups in some form. Consider becoming a part of one and watch your spiritual life grow. What are you waiting for? Give them a call today!
